Ballast Point Releases Limited Edition American Pilsner

This 4th of July, Ballast Point is dropping a limited release of American Pilsner, a refreshing, lightly-hopped pilsner that’s perfect for summertime hangs.

Beginning July 1st, American Pilsner will be available at all Ballast Point tasting rooms in Southern California in 6-packs of 16 oz. cans.

With an ABV of 4.8%, this easy-drinker is made with pilsner and a touch of melanoidin malt to create a clean malty character. Motueka hops, from New Zealand, balance the maltiness with a soft bitterness. Full of character, this sessionable, lightly hopped pilsner has notes of citrus and nectar fruits with a crisp finish.

The super rad can art for American Pilsner features the stars and stripes, with a classic Ballast Point touch: a surfing skeleton crushing a wave, courtesy of resident artist, Paul Elder. The release is accompanied by limited-edition summertime merch featuring Elder’s artwork, also perfect for celebrating the red, white, and blue (brew).
