Hawaii’s Keala Kennelly has won the first Red Bull Magnitude, a first women-only big-wave contest held in Hawaii, in a remote, digital format.

Keala Kennelly won the Overall Performer and Biggest Wave awards; Makani Adric bagged Overall Runner-Up and People’s Choice, presented by Yeti; and Emi Erickson clinched Best Ride.

“The future [of women’s big-wave surfing] is looking really bright,” Keala Kennelly said. “I think this contest was a big success, and I hope that Red Bull brings it back next year.”
