With everyone from Cutwater to Molson Coors diving into the canned cocktail game, a beloved San Diego-based Mexican restaurant has started canning its legendary margaritas.

Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant, serving Mexican comfort food since 1969, has teamed up with Kensington Brewing Company to offer Margaritas de la Casa. Yes, San Diego’s favorite margarita is now available in limited edition 16 oz cans. Priced at $16, the “house margarita” is 100% on-point with what you get at the restaurant.

Super tasty with an alcohol content of “pace yourself,” the canned marg should be served over ice and split between TWO people.  After consuming an entire tall boy myself, let’s just say, Tylenol was my friend the next morning.

With more options to come, Margaritas de la Casa are currently available at Ponce’s in Kensington and Del Sur.
