Maya Gabeira broke her own record for largest wave surfed during a big wave contest, the Guinness World Records said Thursday.
The Brazilian surfer caught a 73.5 foot wave during the WSL Nazare Tow Surfing Challenge in Portugal, UPI reported. She surfed the wave back in February, but it was recently certified by Guinness World Records.

Gabeira also won the World Surf League Biggest Wave Award and the Red Bull Big Wave Award because of the wave.
