Surfer Arrested For Surfing During Lockdown

Before you start tripping, this isn’t San Diego, it’s Punta Hermosa, a beach resort in Lima, Peru.

A Peruvian surfer had his session shut down for violating President Martín Vizcarra’s 15-day quarantine.  Under military-enforced lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus, authorities tossed the handsome surfer into the back of a paddy wagon for breaking the law (while breaking all social distancing rules in the process.)

Visabilably shocked the entire time,  when questioned by military police he responded ““Bro, I didn’t even go outside, I stayed on the inside the whole time.”  😉

While some may argue a solo surf session is a crime against public health, I know a lot of surfers (present company included) who would tell you that it’s crucial to their mental and physical health.

That being said, it’s best to stay to stay home and ride this wave out.
