This year, San Francisco’s largest summer music festival will make history again after getting approval for cannabis sales and a designated smoking area. Yes, you will be able to buy and consume weed (legally) at the three-day event, which starts Friday. Food vendors rejoice!
On Wednesday, the San Francisco Office of Cannabis announced it would grant its first permit for a temporary event where cannabis is sold. Per the San Francisco Chronicle, festival attendees can buy up to 7 grams, or two eighths, of flower and 2 grams of concentrates, found in vape pens, dab rigs, and edibles. That’s a good amount of weed.
This year’s edition of the festival will feature headlining performances by artists including Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino and Paul Simon. Tickets for the festival are still available at the Outside Lands website.
