This weekend, the world’s top professional female surfers are back in Oceanside for the 12th annual Super Girl Surf Pro. The only World Surf League (WSL) 6-Star event in the U.S., it offers valuable points for surfers to qualify into the Women’s Championship Tour in 2020.
Some of the world-class pros expected to compete include Bethany Hamilton, Carissa Moore, Alana Blanchard, Malia Manuel, Lakey Peterson, Coco Ho, and our favorite, Miss Sage Erickson.
Free to attend, here’s some highlights from day one at the Super Girl Surf Pro (Friday, July 26,) courtesy of YEW’s Pete Santos.
