San Diego, Happy Record Store Day (RSD) 2019!!
As retailers get crushed by online commerce, old school record stores continue to flourish with the help of vinyl holidays like Record Store Day. Celebrated across the U.S. for twelve years (and counting,) RSD 2019 is dropping over 500 special vinyl releases from artists including David Bowie, Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, Prince, Pink Floyd, Jeff Buckley, Green Day, and Bob Dylan.
Here in San Diego county, we are fortunate to have over a dozen independent record stores. To make the vinyl digging process easy for you, here’s a list local shops participating in the annual vinyl affair (some with live performances, DJ sets, and free grub.)
