From the “Stay Classy, San Diego” file, a horny couple was ejected from House of Blues San Diego Wednesday night for having sex during a Machine Head concert. Even crazier, it allegedly happened in the front row!
“San Diego! HOLY… FREAKIN… SH*T!!!?? When a guy and gal get ejected for having sex (in the front row no less!?)” Machine Head posted on Instagram.
While you ask yourself how that’s even possible in a GA pit, the legendary metal band, wrapping up its Freaks & Zeroes tour, hadn’t played in San Diego for 11 years, making the incident extra, uhm, special.
“Hands down the best show we have EVER played in your amazing city, and one of the wildest and rowdiest of the entire tour!” the band continued on Instagram.
Touring behind their latest album, Catharsis, the sex act reportedly occurred while the band was performing “Davidian,” a 1994 song with the lyrics “I’ll never live in the past, let freedom ring with a shotgun blast.” Well, apparently, that freedom doesn’t include public fornication.
Ejected from the show half way through, if ticketed, the couple could face misdemeanor charges for engaging in lewd conduct in a public place, AKA California Penal Code 647(a.) Hopefully, it won’t cum to that.
Either way, the band didn’t seem to mind, “epic circle pits, the jumping was crazy, boobies, sing-a-longs, crowd-surfing-mania, couples having sex!!? We are blown away!”⠀
