Surf’s Not Up In North Park

On his way back from the beach Thursday morning, San Diegan, Ted James, rolled up on a 24-inch water main break in North Park.  Massively flooding a local park, water flowed aggressively down city streets for two hours.

James, not concerned about fines, considered paddling out at the corner of Idaho Street and Polk Avenue. Sadly, before he could snag his second session of the day, San Diego Gas & Electric crews arrived and shut down the water, killing the manmade swell.

Bummer, dude, see you at the next main break!
