NIXON is releasing a series of Metallica watches and they are ridiculously awesome. The hard-core collection, dubbed Nixon x Metallica, features images from the band’s legendary catalog including Kill ‘Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, …And Justice for All, and “The Black Album.”
Priced between $150 and $750 (for the limited-edition “Sanitarium” watch,) the nine watches will be available both in stores and online November 5th, but pre-orders are currently being taken at Metallica.com. Additionally, you can check out the entire collection on the site.
Although a bit pricey at $500, our favorite watch in the collection is the “Master of Puppets” (pictured below) with its multilayer “Cross” dial and barbed wire seconds hand.NIXON promises to deliver more items from their collaboration with the metal titans in 2019. Personally, we’re hoping for a watch featuring drummer Lars’ face with a drumstick second hand. In the meantime, Metallica kicks off their fall U.S. tour September 2nd in Madison, Wisconsin.
