The Dust Up Tour with L.A. Witch

This Friday, August 24th, at the Casbah, our homies at DoSD have partnered with Elysian Brewing Co. to present ‘The Dust Up Tour,’ a FREE music showcase celebrating beer, local artists, music and culture. Co-Headlined by L.A. Witch (pictured,) a psych-punk trio consisting of three “weird sisters,” and Heavy Hawaii, a San Diego indie rock outfit, the bill also includes DJs Mike Turi and Andrew McGranahan. In addition to the music, a 3D projection-mapping artist will enhance the event with live visuals projected around the venue.

Stemming from the words “norteno” and “techno,” Nortec was born from the Baja-based group’s fusion of traditional Mexican music and electronica. Since creating the sound that defines the border, the Nortec Collective celebrates their 10th anniversary of Nortec Collective’s album “Tijuana Sound Machine.”

Sunday, August 26
On Sunday, August 26, 2018 cruise around the San Diego Bay and enjoy your only opportunity to ride across the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge. This non-competitive community bike ride is for riders of all abilities and will take you on a scenic, and primarily flat ride, around the San Diego Bay via the Bayshore Bikeway. Along the way, riders will travel through the surrounding cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City before finishing back at the start/finish line for a post-ride festival with food, beverage, beer garden and entertainment.
