This Friday, August 24th, at the Casbah, our homies at DoSD have partnered with Elysian Brewing Co. to present ‘The Dust Up Tour,’ a FREE music showcase celebrating beer, local artists, music and culture.
Co-Headlined by L.A. Witch, a psych-punk trio consisting of three “weird sisters,” and Heavy Hawaii, a San Diego indie rock outfit, the bill also includes DJs Mike Turi and Andrew McGranahan. In addition to the music, a 3D projection-mapping artist will enhance the event with live visuals projected around the venue.

Also, plan to arrive early as the first people through the door will receive a free poster (from a local artist) and some special prizes from Elysian.
Touring in support of their self-titled debut, L.A. Witch consists of frontwoman/guitarist Sade Sanchez, bassist Irita Pai and drummer Ellie English. Together, they create an explosive, gritty combo of psych, punk and rockabilly.
