I scream you scream — it’s going to be scorching hot later this week, so — we all scream for free ice cream.
Today marks the start of National Ice Cream Month and also today, July 1, Baskin-Robbins will give you a free mini-slice of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Pizza just for walking in the door between 3 and 7 p.m. at participating stores.
“It’s no surprise that National Ice Cream Month is our favorite month of the year and we can’t think of a better way to kick it off than with treating our guests to free slices of our popular Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Polar Pizza,” said Carol Austin, Vice President of Marketing for Baskin-Robbins, in a press release. “We hope our guests will enjoy this special treat on July 1 and celebrate with us all month long by taking advantage of our special deals and enjoying a sweet lineup of ice cream flavors and ice cream cakes with family and friends.”
Now, National Ice Cream Day is on July 15, so make sure you stop in again on that day to get buy-one-get-one-free ice cream cones, buy-one-get-one-free $0.99 sundaes, and $2 milkshakes. To get those deals on that day, you’ll have to download the Baskin-Robbins mobile app.
As for the weather, a strong high-pressure system is expected late in the week, pushing hot, dry desert air toward Southern California. With surface winds flowing in from the north, record heat may hit the Southland.
