Whether it’s the feeling of towering above the rest of the people in the world while you consume copious amounts of liquor or it’s the view — rooftop bars just feel a little cooler.

Sitting 22 stories above all the other suckers down on the regular old ground — has fantastic panoramic views of one of the most beautiful cities in the country (duh!). From there, you can see Coronado Island, Coronado Bridge, Point Loma, and even Petco Park and the Pads.
Fire pits, happy hour specials, bottle service and a good selection of wine, beer, and cocktails — with a decent array of appetizers, flatbreads, burgers and more make this place a really decent hang.
But Altitude isn’t the only place in San Diego that you can get high — left off this list, but definitely worth checking out include The Nolen, Level 9, The Rooftop by STK, Upper East, and Fairweather.
