This week, Green Flash Brewing, the San Diego-based craft beer company, announced it had foreclosed on its loans and sold the company’s assets to WC IPA LLC, a new investor group. Major Bummer.  According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Green Flash and Alpine breweries will operate under new ownership, but “Green Flash Brewing Co. and Alpine Beer, which Green Flash purchased in 2014, will be dissolved.”

“I lost a million dollars”

In his first podcast appearance, Pat McIlhenney, co-founder of Alpine Beer, talks openly about the Green Flash Brewing foreclosure. “I lost a million dollars” he tells host Jacob Nikos, but it’s NOT gone. You heard that right!  We URGE you to listen to this episode of ‘Let Me Drink About It’ and RUN, not walk, to the pub in Alpine and support this family operation.
