A Walk on Water — a non-profit that provides surf therapy to individuals with special needs — hosted an event at Malibu last weekend and Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ frontman Anthony Kiedis was on hand to help the athletes in the water.
Over one hundred A Walk on Water surfers participated in surf therapy heats with the help of 200 volunteers including, in addition to Kiedis, musician Matt Costa, surf legend Allen Sarlo, and top-ranked pro surfer Courtney Conlogue (pictured below.)
The athletes, along with their families, enjoyed a day of positive vibes, audible “YEWs,” and the true healing powers of the ocean.
