Girl Power: The Youngest X Games Gold Medalist Ever

Encinitas’ Brighton Zeuner, 13, is the youngest gold medalist in X Games history.  Siq.

One day after her 13th birthday, Brighton —  who is also the youngest female to ever compete in the event’s 22-year history — dominated the Women’s Skateboard Park at X Games Minneapolis 2017.

According to her X Games bio, the fearless ripper loves Beyonce and Nicki Minaj (especially when “she’s rapping about girl power.”)

Not surprising, given the power behind this girl in braces.

In addition to her recent record-breaking accomplishment, Zeuner won the Vans Park Series in Malmö, Sweden last summer, and may compete in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
