Just when you thought it couldn’t get radder than the Star Wars collab, Encinitas-based Nixon has teamed up with The Bones Brigade to create a #yewworthy series of watches called the Nixon x Bones Brigade Time Tellers.
An homage to OG Brigadiers Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Tommy Guerrero and Mike McGill, the watches come equipped with custom dials and iconic skater graphics — designed by artist Vernon “Court” Courtlandt Johnson in the 80s.
COURT’S GRAPHICS WERE HIGH-LEVEL WORK. HE CREATED A STYLE FOR BOARDS THAT OBVIOUSLY STANDS THE TEST OF TIME. THEY’RE VERY ICONIC IMAGES. – TOMMY GUERRERO
The Nixon x Bones Brigade Time Tellers are available only at your local skate retailer (including South Coast Surf Shops) and retail for $125 a piece, or $800 for the boxed set.
