We’ve all been to pairing events with craft beer, right?! What about weed? It’s happening, February 25th at a private location in San Diego.
Swoon, a five-course cannabis-infused dinner event, promises “a love-filled meal from talented chefs with good company, locally sourced foods, and a little extra lift to your experience.”
For this particular event, Chef Hanis Cavin (Carnitas Snack Shack) and Chef Colin Murray (formerly of Brooklyn Girl & Mess Hall) will be responsible for substituting the OG Kush for the oregano.
As regulations remain in limbo in California, while legal, marijuana dining is limited to “patients” who hire private chefs to prepare these weed-infused meals for other “patients” in their homes, or private facilities.
At $125 a plate, this elevated affair will also feature tastings from wine and spirits purveyors, craft brewers and artisanal kombucha makers.
In other words, if you’re planning on attending, get a lyft.
